LEGAZPI CITY – Two most wanted persons in the Bicol Region and over 100 others were arrested in week-long police operations.

In a report on Monday, Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) Director Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr. said the manhunt operations from Sept. 7 to 13 yielded 106 arrests.

Apprehended include 16 at the municipal level, four at the city level, six at the provincial level, two at the regional level, and 78 other wanted individuals arrested across the region.

On Sept. 13, alias “Willy,” ranked as the No. 2 most wanted in the region, was captured in Daraga, Albay.

The suspect was served with a warrant of arrest for three counts of qualified trafficking in persons and for qualified rape by sexual assault, with bail recommended at PHP200,000.

Alias “Romy,” the No. 3 most wanted in the region and facing murder charges, was arrested in Labo, Camarines Norte. (PNA)
