CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Police busted two alleged big-time drug dealers in a buy-bust in Barangay Poblacion, Guiguinto town early morning Friday.
Bulacan police director, Col. Franklin Estoro, identified the arrested suspects as alias Mark, 39, jobless and a resident of Baliwag town; and alias Rodel, 46, a construction worker and resident of Guiguinto town.
The suspects are both included in the Unified Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) watchlist.
Estoro said anti-narcotics operatives of the Guiguinto Police Station headed by Lt. Col. Christain Alucod conducted the coordinated operation.
Before the arrest, the poseur buyer was able to buy a heat-sealed transparent sachet of suspected shabu from the duo in exchange for marked money.
The police operation also resulted in the seizure of more or less 150 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of PHP1 million.
The suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination while criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and No. 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed in court.
