MANILA – Operatives of the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) have arrested two high-value individuals (HVI) and seized around PHP74.8 million worth of shabu in Caloocan City on Sunday evening.

In a statement on Monday, PDEG acting chief Col. Rolando Cuya said the suspects, with aliases Johary, 26, and Ambulo, 25, were arrested during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Amparo, North Caloocan at 8:15 p.m.

The suspects yielded 11 kg. of suspected shabu and other non-drug items.

Cuya said the arrested persons were brought to Amparo Sub-Station 15 and would be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, while the confiscated drug evidence would be turned over to the Northern Police District Crime Laboratory for examination. (PNA)
