MANILA – Two suspects were arrested and suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP68 million was seized during an anti-drug operation in Pasay City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported on Saturday.

In a statement, the PDEA said the suspects, with aliases Aldrich, 28, and Rudy, 32, were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Seaside Boulevard, North Parking, SMBY, Barangay 76 in Pasay, City at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Confiscated from them were 10 kg. of suspected shabu, cellular phones, a vehicle, buy-bust money, and identification cards.

The two will be charged with violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office. (PNA)
