MANILA, Aug 10 (Mabuhay) — Three more remains of military personnel killed in the July 4 C-130 transport plane crash in Patikul, Sulu have been identified.

Armed Forces of the Philippines spokesperson Col. Ramon Zagala said Tuesday a report from the Regional Crime Laboratory Office in the Region of the Philippine National Police confirmed the identities of Corporal Jemmar Mondido, Private First Class Lester Al Lagrada and Private First Class Bensheen Sabaduquia.

Zagala said the families of the three personnel have been informed about the report and the remains are being prepared for transport.

A total of 40 bodies have now been identified while 10 are still undergoing the identification process.

“The AFP condoles with the families of our deceased comrades in this time of grief. We shall continue to exhaust all efforts in order to identify the remaining victims and bring them to their final resting place,” Zagala said.

Aside from the 50 military deaths, three civilians on the ground were killed, 46 military personnel and four civilians were wounded in the incident. (MNS)
