MANILA – Authorities arrested three drug suspects and seized PHP20.4 million worth of shabu during interdiction operations in Samar province, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Tuesday.

In a statement, PDEA identified the suspects with aliases Noel, Paul and Matt, who were nabbed in Barangay Mahayag, Catbalogan City, at about 4 p.m. Monday.

Confiscated from the suspects were three kilograms of shabu and various drug paraphernalia.

The suspects will be facing violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and are presently detained at the local police station. (PNA)
