MANILA (Mabuhay) — Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Siegfred Mison said the newspaper ads calling for his ouster are the handiwork of people affected by the reforms he implemented in the agency.

He believes the ads were not even sanctioned by the group that purportedly caused its publication.

The ad was supposedly signed by an “Atty. Faissal Hussin” in his supposed capacity as head of the Buklod ng Kawani ng CID.

Mison said the group has disowned the ad.

In his statement to the media, Mison said Atty. Gregorio Sadiasa, current president of the group, told him Hussin’s statements were his own.

Mison also rebutted the allegations raised against him in the ad on the supposed reimbursement of gasoline and toll expenses, the cases of Fu Gaofeng, Wilson Ong Cheng, and overtime pay.

He said he will be answering all the allegations contained there at the proper forum. (MNS)
