Cara Mia Gelato launches ‘Pennies For Education’

educationCara Mia Gelato (CMG) Eagle Rock Plaza is proud to announce the launching of their first loca community program called “Pennies For Education” benefiting educational program of Filipino American Associations in the Los Angeles, CA area.

Also, CMG Eagle Rock Plaza is pleased to name the first recipient of the program – Don Bosco Philippines Alumni Association of North America (DBPAANA), a 501-C non-profit organization, headquartered at St. Dominic Savio Parish located at 11900 Bellflower Blvd., Bellflower, CA.

Headed by President Aurelio “Jun” Alvero, DB Makati and their mission, “Bosconians Together Educating Children”. Through their yearly fundraising efforts, a minimum of 3 scholars ($1,000 each) are named to the TVET program of Don Bosco Schools in the Philippines as part of DBPAANA commitment to help educate the children and land a job after their 15-months training course.
