CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Police arrested eight suspects and seized PHP1.6 million worth of shabu in weekend anti-drug operations across Central Luzon, officials reported Monday.

The largest haul came from Balanga City, Bataan, where authorities confiscated 110 grams of shabu (PHP748,000) and arrested six suspects Sunday afternoon.

Also on Sunday, Cabanatuan City police nabbed one suspect with 70 grams (PHP477,360) of the drug.

Monday’s operation in Samal, Bataan netted another high-value target carrying 56 grams (PHP380,800) and an unlicensed .38 caliber revolver.

“These results show our aggressive campaign against drug syndicates,” Police Regional Office-3 Director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said in a news release. (PNA)
