In a statement, CIDG Director Maj. Gen. Nicolas Torre said the arrested individuals were wanted for rape, sexual abuse, illegal drugs, estafa, and qualified thief.

Among the 30 fugitives, 17 were captured in Luzon, eight in Mindanao, and five in Visayas.

Two of them are most wanted at the regional level in Central Visayas and Davao Region, facing illegal drugs and statutory rape charges.

Torre lauded the CIDG regional and provincial field units and detection and special operations for this remarkable accomplishment on the day of the national and local elections until the canvassing of votes.
