MANILA – Creamline aims to extend its reign while Petro Gazz seeks redemption when they meet in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference finals.

Game One of the best-of-three championship series kicks off on April 8 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Creamline downed Choco Mucho, 25-19, 25-15, 25-15, on Thursday to reach the championhip round for the seventh consecutive time.

The Cool Smashers, owner of 10 titles, thrives under pressure. After bowing to the Angels (23-25, 22-25, 25-21, 16-25) in the semis, they conquered the Akari Chargers (25-18, 25-19, 25-19) and the Choco Mucho Flying Titans (25-19, 25-15, 25-15) to secure another championship berth.

Alyssa Valdez, Tots Carlos, Bernadeth Pons, Bea de Leon and Pangs Panaga will banner Creamline with support coming from Michele Gumabao, Lorie Bernardo and Rosemarie Vargas.

Petro Gazz, on the other hand, swept Akari in the semifinal to earn a second trip to the All-Filipino Finals, the first being in 2023, when it lost to Creamline.

Brooke Van Sickle, Myla Pablo, MJ Phillips, Jonah Sabete, Joy Dacoron, Aiza Pontillas, Ranya Musa and Nicole Tiamzon delivered in the Angels’ 25-22, 25-20, 25-18 win over the Akari Chargers.

“We’re rallying behind Brooke since this is her first Finals,” Pablo said. (PNA)
