CEBU CITY – A 20-year-old man whose dream was to become a law enforcement officer was arrested on Sunday night and yielded PHP7.5 million worth of suspected shabu, the anti-narcotics agency said Monday.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Visayas said that the suspect identified only as “Cali”, a criminology student in one of the schools here, was arrested during a buy-bust operation at Sitio San Vicente, C. Padilla St., Barangay Duljo-Fatima this city.

According to PDEA-7, the suspect, a resident in the neighboring Sitio Puntod of the same coastal barangay, is a regional-level high-value target who has been the source of illegal drugs of other suspects in previous arrests.

The suspect who yielded 1.1 kilos of shabu is now facing drug charges. (PNA)
