DAVAO CITY – Police in the Davao Region confiscated illegal drugs worth approximately PHP1.6 million and arrested six individuals in six operations from Jan. 29 to 30, the Police Regional Office-11 (PRO-11) reported Thursday.
In a Facebook post, PRO-11 Director Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete said the operations led to the seizure of 237.2 grams of shabu.
Rosete emphasized PRO-11’s commitment to combating illegal drugs through a multi-faceted strategy that combines rigorous law enforcement with community engagement, in line with the guidance of Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil.
“The recent operations underscore the unwavering dedication of the men and women of PRO-11 to their duty, in partnership with other law enforcement agencies and the public,” Rosete said.
He also reaffirmed PRO-11’s mission to create safer communities and ensure a drug-free environment. (PNA)
