MANILA, Mar 25 (Mabuhay) –The Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday logged 442 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 3,675,821.

The Philippines’ active case count stood at 44,573, according to the DOH’s latest data posted on its website.

The Health department said the top regions in terms of new cases in the last two weeks were the National Capital Region with 1,919, followed by Region 4-A with 830, and Region 6 with 639.

Meanwhile, at least 3,572,477 more patients recovered from the viral disease.

The country’s death toll climbed to 58,771.

Based on the latest data, 24.64% of the intensive care unit (ICU) beds for COVID-19 patients nationwide were occupied.

At least 22.04% of isolation beds in the country were utilized, while 13.66% of ward beds were in use. (MNS)
