PANORAMA CITY—The Pilipino Workers Center (PWC) will celebrate the grand opening of its new community
hub in the San Fernando Valley, located at 8237 Sepulveda Place #2, Panorama City, CA 91402. The Caring
Community Center is designed to serve Filipino migrant workers in the region, offering vital resources, support,
and information for immigrant workers and their families.

Partly funded by the LA County Department of Health’s (DPH) Community Health Worker for Sustainable
Outreach & Navigation (CHW-SON) grant, the new facility will host community meetings, educational events,
and workshops aimed to promote DPH’s health programs and services. The center will also assist local
residents in accessing both public and private resources, helping to enhance the quality of life within the
community.

The grand opening event will feature remarks from local community leaders, cultural presentations, and a
ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the center’s doors to the public. This milestone marks an important
step in PWC’s ongoing mission to empower Filipino workers and foster solidarity within the San Fernando
Valley’s Filipino community.
