MALASIQUI, Pangasinan – The Ilocos Police has confiscated a total of PHP94.2 million worth of shabu and marijuana in 191 anti-illegal drugs operations in February this year.

In an interview Wednesday, Maj. Divina Albino, chief of the Police Regional Office-1 (PRO1) information office, said the amount is from the confiscated 849.44 grams of shabu, 101.21 grams of dried marijuana, 18 grams of marijuana kush, and four milliliters of liquid marijuana.

In the marijuana eradication operations, 388,072 pieces of marijuana plants, 111,100 pieces of seedlings, 31,000 grams of marijuana stalks, and 20,000 grams of marijuana fruiting tops with a total estimated amount of PHP88 million were discovered and destroyed, she said.

Albino said bulk of the operations are in Pangasinan and Ilocos Sur provinces.

He added that 203 suspects have been arrested in these operations in February.
