CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office in Central Luzon (PRO-3) achieved another success in its intensified effort against wanted individuals with the arrest of a Korean fugitive wanted for fraud in his country on Friday.

Around 10:50 a.m. in San Fernando City, a joint police team served Mission Order No. 2025-267 to Ha Sangmoo, 48, who is wanted in South Korea for violation of Article 347(1) of the Korean Criminal Act (Fraud).

The arrest was carried out following an International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) notice forwarded to the PRO-3 Regional Intelligence Division.

After the operation, the fugitive underwent a medical examination before being placed under the temporary custody of the San Fernando City Police Station.

“This operation once again demonstrates the value of accurate intelligence and strong collaboration in bringing fugitives to justice,” PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. said.

Friday’s operation came after the PRO-3 captured 10 regional most wanted persons in the past 11 days. (PNA)
