MANILA, Jan 4 (Mabuhay)–
As the New Year arrives, Kris Bernal reflects on the year that was 2020.
“Staying alive is my greatest achievement this 2020,” the Kapuso actress said in an Instagram post.
She also assured her fans that it was okay if they “did not do much” this year.
“This year is not a year to brag about achievements but it is appreciating what we have and the ability to understand and share the feelings of another, and coming back stronger than ever because hardships are what make us stronger,” Kris said.
“2020 year may be full of challenges but it taught me how to be ready for 2021!” she added.
Kris and her non-showbiz fiance Perry Choi had earlier tentatively set their wedding to May 2021, but admitted there had been “zero planning” going on.
She said it was the delayed construction of their dream house that really put a wrench in their plans because they wanted to move into it once they were married.
The couple got engaged on February 6. Kris planned to surprise Perry with a party on his birthday, but he surprised her with a proposal instead. (MNS)
