MANILA (Mabuhay) -– Actress Lovi Poe has already moved on from the controversy which involved her and director and producer Erik Matti.

In September, Matti unleashed a tirade against the actress on social media, saying he had a hard time getting Poe to return to a film sequel even if they have a “solid contract.”

Poe, who played one of the major characters in Matti’s 2012 movie, “Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles,” had been set to return for the follow-up “Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles.”

The director said they tried all the possible options just to get Poe to join the movie, but the actress’ camp just said no.

Poe said she is no longer bothered by the issue and she only wishes the best for Matti this holiday season.

“For me honestly, I’ve moved on from it already. I wish him all the best this Christmas,” she said.

While they weren’t able to settle their differences, Poe said: “Walang pagkakataon makapag-usap. Pero for me naman, sa akin, okay lang. Okay na ako. Nag-move on na talaga ako from it.”

Poe is one of the stars of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Shake, Rattle and Roll XV.” (MNS)
