MANILA (Mabuhay) – Benhur Luy, the whistleblower in the alleged P10-billion pork barrel scam, admitted Tuesday that he did not personally hear alleged scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles threaten him or his family.

However, he was sure that it was her who ordered him detained, telling the court hearing Napoles’ serious illegal detention case that on December 19, 2012, Napoles hysterically shouted, “Ikulong na yan! Ikulong na yan! P… yan!”

Luy said this was when Napoles confronted him regarding his supposed transactions with staff of lawmakers. He said she accused him of securing the transactions intended for her company for himself.

Luy said Napoles’ brother and co-accused, Reynald Lim, stormed to the room where he is being confronted by Napoles and accosted him..

Asked during the hearing if he personally heard Napoles threaten him and his family, Luy said he did not because it was Lim who was dealing with him allegedly upon the instructions of Napoles.

Wala [pong personal na narinig kay Napoles], pero palaging sinasabi niya dati na hawak niya ang gobyerno,” Luy said.

He earlier said that Lim told him that something bad will happen to him or his family if they will not follow Napoles’ instructions. (MNS)
