MANILA, May 28 (Mabuhay) – – There will be no holdover official from the Duterte administration when President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. takes over as Chief Executive on June 30, Marcos’ spokesman Atty. Vic Rodriguez said on Friday night.

Rodriguez dismissed reports that there would be no change in the departments of agriculture and of transportation.

“The directive and the direction given by President-elect Bongbong, he wants to form his own administration. He wants to have his own government and he wants to run his own governance,” Rodriguez said.

“Simply put e magkakaroon tayo ng mga bagong mukha na mamumuno sa lahat ng mga departamento ng ating gobyerno,” he added.

Rodriguez has been chosen and has accepted the post of executive secretary in the incoming Marcos administration.

He is also the head of Marcos’ transition team coordinating with officials of President Rodrigo Duterte.  (MNS)
