MANILA (Mabuhay) — The Office of the Ombudsman has ordered the dismissal of suspended Makati Mayor Junjun Binay in connection with the alleged overpricing in the Makati parking building construction.

Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales confirmed this in an interview with reporters Friday.

Morales said Binay, son of Vice President Jejomar Binay, was dismissed for his alleged dishonesty from service, among others.

Last March, the Ombudsman suspended Binay over the alleged overpricing in the construction of the Makati City Hall Building II. (MNS)
