MANILA (Mabuhay) — Senator Juan Ponce Enrile on Friday dropped by the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame to visit Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Ramon Revilla Jr., who continue to be detained on plunder and graft charges related to the P10-billion pork barrel fund scam.

Enrile arrived in a white SUV at the detention compound at 12:10 p.m. to have lunch with the two senators.

Enrile, who’s also facing similar charges for his own alleged involvement in the scam, was released from hospital arrest on Thursday after posting a P1.45-million bail. He was allowed to post bail by Supreme Court on Tuesday.

The 91-year-old senator was detained at the PNP General Hospital instead of at the custodial center because of his advanced age and many ailments.

Estrada and Revilla’s respective petitions for bail remain pending before the Sandiganbayan. (MNS)
