The total recovery count increased to 1,829,473 after 18,754 more patients defeated the respiratory illness.

The DOH said 118 duplicates were removed from the total case count, while 37 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.

The DOH said all laboratories were operational on August 30, while five laboratories were not able to submit their data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System.

The DOH added that the relatively low case count was due to lower laboratory output last Monday. (MNS)
