MANILA, Apr 1 (Mabuhay) — President Benigno Aquino III on Wednesday said he will pray for his critics this Holy Week.

In an interview after his inspection of the Batangas Port, Aquino said he plans to reflect in the coming days on why his detractors continue to show “intense hate” towards him.

“At the end of the day, siguro pagmumuni-munihan ko ‘yung ‘di ba some quarters have this intense hate that they have continously exhibited. Siguro I’ll concentrate on praying for them,” Aquino told reporters.

He added that he will would spend some “quiet time,” as suggested by his spiritual advisers.

“Ina-advise ako ng spiritual adviser ko and others na religious community na nakausap natin to ‘yung tinatawag na quiet time. So far wala pa tayong quiet time,” he said. (MNS)
