CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Authorities nabbed two fugitives in separate operations in Sta. Maria, Bulacan and Angeles City, Pampanga on Friday.
In a social media post Saturday, the Police Regional Office-Central Luzon (PRO-3) said vendor alias “Intoy”, 59, and a resident of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, is the prime suspect in the killing of one Roderick Constantino due to alleged drug-related conflict.
He was arrested in Barangay Poblacion, Sta. Maria town by operatives of the San Jose del Monte City Police Station at around 11:33 a.m.
PRO-3 said a warrant of arrest for murder was issued by San Jose del Monte City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 120 on March 28. No bail was recommended.
At around 1:30 pm of the same day, police agents also arrested in Angeles City “Jestoni,” 23, a resident of Rizal, Occidental Mindoro.
He is facing two counts of rape, with warrants issued by the San Jose, Occidental Mindoro RTC Branch 45 on Jan. 28. Likewise, no bail was recommended.
“These arrests prove that no criminal can escape the long arm of the law. Our operations will continue to ensure that fugitives are held accountable. We also call on the public to support our campaign for peace and order,” PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said in a news release. (PNA)
