CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Law enforcers arrested early Tuesday morning a high-value suspect who yielded PHP1.7 million worth of shabu during an operation in Barangay San Vicente, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.

Authorities identified the suspect as alias “Nato,” 41, a resident of Barangay Bulaon, City of San Fernando.

He was apprehended during a joint operation by the Pampanga Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the Sto. Tomas Municipal Police Station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon.

They recovered from the suspect about 255 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP1.734 million, along with a mobile phone and a motorcycle.

“This successful operation sends a strong message to drug syndicates — we will hunt you down and bring you to justice. Our intensified intelligence efforts and relentless operations will continue to dismantle drug networks. We urge the public to remain vigilant and support law enforcement by reporting illegal activities,” Police Regional Office-3 Director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo said in a news release. (PNA)
