MANILA, Nov 18 (Mabuhay) – Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. has been discharged from the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Taguig City after the Sandiganbayan allowed him to stay there overnight.

Revilla left the hospital at around 12:15 p.m. and arrived at Camp Crame at 12:30 p.m., past the 12 noon deadline set by the anti-graft court’s First Division.

Revilla underwent a medical check-up and diagnostic tests such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), cardiac work-up, and blood chemistry.

The senator, who has been detained for his alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam, has been complaining of migraine, hypertension, dyslipidemia and radiculopathy, based on the motion he submitted to the court.

The Sandiganbayan last week granted Revilla’s request for an overnight stay at St. Luke’s for “humanitarian reasons.” (MNS)
