MANILA, Sept 15 (Mabuhay) — Making your dream house a reality takes much sacrifice, even for those in the showbiz industry.
Sanya Lopez, for example, said that she had to keep a tight control of her spending to be able to afford buying her 200 square meter modern house.
But if there’s one thing that made saving money easier, she thinks it’s possibly her lack of a love life.
“Feeling ko talaga malaking factor ang love life sa pag-iipon for me, kasi kung siningit ko ‘yun baka hindi ako masyado nag-focus,” the actress said.
Aside from putting romance in the back burner, Sanya said that she held back on using her earnings as she worked hard as an actress.
“Hindi ako mahilig lumabas. Hindi din ako mahilig bumili ng mga bags, ng mga shoes, not unless importante at kailangan,” she said.
The Kapuso star said that she didn’t always grow up in a big home.
Sanya said there was a time she rented a place in Tandang Sora but she shared a room with her assistant and they would just put a curtain for privacy.
She also experienced living in a small apartment in Valenzuela.
“Isang room lang tas paglabas mo andoon na lahat. Napakaliit tapos sabi ko di kasya mga gamit,” she said. (MNS)
