SAN FRANCISCO, February 1, 2011 (AFP) – Chinese singles in the United States now have an online match-making service to help them find love and marriage with others that share their culture and values.

The website was open to the public on Tuesday as a “place for Chinese singles to meet, connect and get to know each other.”

The service boasted in an online post that it was created by a Chinese woman, Q Zhou, with the needs of single Chinese women in mind but is designed to assist people of either gender in finding soul mates.

Membership at the service is free, and the site features a blog that included advising men to be funny and unusual instead of nerdy if they want to stand out from the crowd.
