MANILA (Mabuhay) -– It’s been more than a year since “Dyesebel” with Anne Curtis in the title role finished its run on ABS-CBN but the actress has yet to sign up for a new teleserye for primetime.
Curtis explained that it will be hard for her to do a soap because of her hosting duties on the noontime program “It’s Showtime,” which airs six days a week.
“Siguro kaya ayaw ko muna mag-teleserye kasi kapag nagteteleserye ako, hindi na ako nakakapag ‘Showtime’ because araw-araw may taping. Hindi naman puwede na aalis ako sa ‘Showtime.’ When I did ‘Dyesebel,’ nawala ako sa ‘Showtime,’” she said.
The actress, however, said she is willing to do a movie despite her current schedule.
“Huwag na muna siguro teleserye. Baka movies na lang muna ako,” she said.
There have been reports that Curtis will be doing a big-screen project with Maja Salvador and Paulo Avelino soon.
Last month, Star Magic’s Jerry Telan shared a photo on Instagram where the three Kapamilya stars can be seen having dinner with director Ruel Bayani.
In the caption, Telan wrote that the dinner was supposed to “break the ice” between the three ABS-CBN stars.
Some netizens then speculated that the meeting will probably lead to a new movie project with the three. (MNS)
