MANILA – National University Nazareth School (NUNS) beat Far Eastern University-Diliman, 21-18, and booked the last semifinal ticket to the Under-19 division of the UAAP Season 88 3×3 boys’ basketball tournament at Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City on Saturday.

Miekho Natinga scored 10 points while Siane Bouzina added seven for the Bullpups, who will face the top-ranked University of Santo Tomas (UST) Tiger Cubs at 11:40 a.m. on Sunday.

UST completed a seven-game sweep of the elimination round following a 21-16 win over University of the Philippines.

The other semifinal match pits Far Eastern University-Diliman (FEU-D) against De La Salle-Zobel (DLSZ).

In the U-16 division, DLSZ eliminated Adamson University, 19-15, and University of the East (UE) demolished NUNS, 21-12, to grab the last two semis berths.

UE will battle No. 1 seed FEU-D at 11 a.m., while DLSZ will meet defending champion Ateneo at 11:20 a.m.

In the girls’ division, NUNS defeated defending champion UST, 19-10, to close out the elimination round in the no-bearing contest.

The Lady Bullpups and the Junior Tigresses will clash for the title at 3:40 p.m.

The Junior Lady Archers will take on the Blue Eagles in the battle for third place at 1:40 p.m. (PNA)
